Josh Oster
Josh Oster took over for Hall of Fame Coach Joe Williams following the 2011 season. Josh was an assistant for Coach Williams starting in 2004. In his 8 years as an assistant Josh learned how to run a successful program. During his time as an assistant and as head coach the Porters have had 66 State Qualifiers, 40 State Placers, 16 State Finalists and 8 State Champions. The Porters have also placed in the top 4 at the Individual State tournament team scoring 6 times, won 5 regionals, qualified for Dual State tournament 4 times, placed 3 times and won a State Title in 2017.
Josh is active coaching on the National Level for Illinois/USA Wrestling coaching the Cadet and Junior Freestyle National teams since 2008 and the Cadet Freestyle National Dual team since 2009 during which time Illinois has won 6 National Dual Championships.
