We want to take this time to wish Carolyn Dietz the best of luck at this weekend's IHSA Girl's Swimming and Diving State Finals Tournament. Carolyn, a diver, qualified for state after taking second in last weekend's sectional tournament. Although she placed second in the sectional, she still had the fourth-highest total dive scores in the entire state for the weekend. By qualifying, Carolyn is now a 4-time state qualifier!
Carolyn is also a four-year member of the wrestling program as a stat-girl, but has been around the program even longer, having two older brothers who both had successful careers on the mat for Lockport.
Carolyn has been a tremendous asset to the program since she's been involved, and we wish her the best of luck this weekend as she hopes to bring home her first state medal!
